Ideology

You are here: Bro1 :: English :: Ideology

Basicly I am a libertarian, which means that freedom is one of the most important things to me.
And my main principles are the folowing:
1. do whatever you want until you do not hurt anyone else.
2. help other people if it does not hurt you.

Abortion

I believe abortions should be legal.
First point is that an embryo is not a separate organism, therefore woman should be allowed to decide what she wants to do with her body.
Another point is that the result of human existance is nil. I.e. you are born, you live, you die. Everything ends for you, you do not exist anymore, therefore you can not even remeber that you have ever lived.
What does this mean?
It basicly means that unborn baby loses nothing as usually life brings more suffering than hapiness.

Religion

Religions are bad for minds of young people therefore religions should not be allowed to involve children up top age of 18.

Business

Businesses should not be regulated by government at all except in the cases where business activity could cause a risk to human life.

Smoking Ban

I am a huge supporter of free market.
But in current situation I support smoking ban in pubs and restaurants. It's just that there is no free market in Ireland. It's difficult to enter bar business due to all other regulations, licensing, etc.
People should be allowed to smoke only if they are not affecting health of others.

Drugs

Drugs should be legal.
